Q: How safe are your workshops regarding the virus?

A: Very safe by using the strict protocol we have developed for you.

Q: Do you run Courses?

A: Yes we do.

Our Retreat is set up for you to do what you want, when you want and for as long as you want.

Our all-inclusive package includes a quilting clinic. The clinic provides you with 1 to 1 help from our resident Quilter Julie. She hopes to inspire you and give you guidance, hints and tips but only if you want her to. She will pop in and out periodically during your stay.

Additionally we can provide courses which are charged at a day rate for your group. When making your booking application please contact us to determine course requirements.

Q: What will I do all day?

A: Our Retreat is set up for you to do what you want, when you want and for as long as you want. This is your time to indulge yourself.
Bring your own project, or start a new one or bring some UFO’s to complete. Learn some new skills and techniques. Our resident Quilter Julie is available to help.
Relax in quiet space and sink in to the luxury beds. Get out in the refreshing country air, enjoy the sights and sounds of the rural idyll.
Enjoy wonderful food and drink – As a guide we will serve Breakfast around 815am, Lunch around 1230pm and Dinner around 630pm. We will provide mid-morning and mid-afternoon tea, coffee, refreshments and indulgences.

Q: Where will my holiday take place?

A: In a delightful barn conversion in a beautiful rural setting.

Q: Do you pick us up from the airport or train station?

A: Taxi services are available at an extra cost. We can provide contact details, for you to book. We have several parking spaces for your vehicles.

Q: What is not included in the cost of the holiday?

A: Fares to and from U.K., Taxis or car hire
Additional fabrics and quilting items
Personal insurance and Medical treatment

Q: Do you have sewing machines available for use?

A: Please bring your own machines, we have 2 spare machines just in case. Please refer to our webpage on what to bring.

Q: Do you have free wifi?

A: Yes we do. Although the area is rural there is high speed fibre optic cables to help us supply a good service.

Q: Do you cater for different dietary needs?

A: Yes we do. Please complete the booking details form to communicate your needs. Our chef will be delighted to cater to your needs.

As a guide we will serve Breakfast around 815am, Lunch around 1230pm and Dinner around 6.30pm. We will provide mid-morning and mid-afternoon tea, coffee, refreshments and indulgences.

Q: Is the site disabled friendly?

A: Not 100%. The facilities are on one level. We have a ramp at the side entrance and door thresholds are low. Please contact us for further details.

Q: What is there for non-participating partners to do in the local area?

A: Our retreat is based in a major tourist area, there are many options. Please go to our webpage for details Around and About us.

Q: Do we provide Hairdryers?

A: Most retreaters bring their own hairdryers, we do not keep them in the rooms, however just in case we have a couple available to borrow if needed, located in the communal room to help yourself.

Q: Are there Tea/Coffee making facilities in the rooms?

A: No – All the rooms are next to the communal dining area, where you can get a variety of teas, coffees and soft drinks 24/7.

Q: Can we drink alcohol, wine, etc. at The Quilt Retreat?

A: Yes – There is fridge / freezer in the communal dining area, so if anyone wants to bring wine or other drinks they can be kept cool.

Q: Do we provide toiletries?

A: Most retreaters bring their own toiletries, we provide bar soaps on a help yourself basis if required, located in the communal room.

Q: Where do we source our energy?

A: Our Electricity is 100% sourced from renewable energy.
