The Building
The building was formerly a dairy and stables. It was remodelled and extended in 2016 to provide an enriching retreat environment, with extensive views across the beautiful surrounding countryside.
The Workshop for Quilters
The workshop is light, spacious and fully equipped, with plenty of room for up to 10 quilters. There are design walls, irons, cutting table & mats, a good selection of quilting books & magazines, a lightbox, accuquilt with dies & other useful items. We recommend you bring your own sewing machine or in case of emergency we have 2 spare machines here for you to use (Janome 8077 & Pfaff Tiptronic 2040). We do ask you to bring your own rotary cutter and other items listed on the page link What to Bring checklist.

Quality Beds, mattresses, pillows, sheets, quilts, & towels have been carefully selected for your comfort and enjoyment. The beds match 5 star Hotel standards.

Bedroom 3: Lone Star
1 single bed, En-suite. Wi-Fi. Accessed from its own front door, adjacent to the main front door of the retreat.

1 single bed, En-suite shared with Bedroom 5 Friendship Star. Wi-Fi.
Bedroom 5: Friendship Star
1 single bed, En-suite shared with Bedroom 4 Basket Weave. Wi-Fi.
Bedroom 6: Flying Geese
2 single beds, En-suite. Wi-Fi.
Bedroom 7: Honey Bee
2 single beds, En-suite. Wi-Fi.

In addition to the 7 bedrooms in The Quilt Retreat Barn, we also have further options.
These additional rooms are suitable for persons comfortable with handling stairs.
